From the Vault: Digital Art, Part Three

The last time I pulled images from the digital vault it featured artwork based on quotes. We’re going back in the vault today for more digital art, but this time I am featuring work from a different series.  These images were all created with the idea of trying to visually show what the sound of static might look like, if you could see it.

Although some images seemed to evolve into representing other ideas that was the basis of their creation.

Again, all the images were created using Photoshop Elements. One of the fun & flexible things about digital art is the ability to adjust the colors of images very easily.  I ended up with many differently colored versions of each image. I stuck with the orange, green, purple colors for this series because I wanted them to have a neon-type look, but the sky is pretty much the limit as far as how you can color a digital image.

I love having that option when I create! Posting these images makes me want to get creative with pixels again, I haven’t made any digital art lately. Perhaps I’ll take time to do that soon – keep checking the blog to see what happens!
