Just a reminder that the 5th annual “ArtsGo!” weekend is coming up here in Hendricks County, Indiana. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to get out and discover all the wonderful art & culture available in our county! Sites are set up in towns across the county for you to visit, including some private art studios that will be open to the public. Chat with the artists, view & purchase art, see theatrical performances and hear wonderful music. Previously a one-day event many sites have expanded the tour to include both Friday evening and Saturday hours so you have twice the opportunity to participate! This year I will be located at Artistic Designs Gallery in Brownsburg during the hours of 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Stop in one (or both!) days and say hello, chat with the artists and expand you art collect! Visit the arts council website at www.hendrickscountyarts.org and click on the “events” tab for details & locations. Guides were distributed in the Hendricks County Flyer newspaper and are also available at all participating sites.
