ArtScape! This Saturday evening

I’m so excited about this show!

I’ve been busy selecting and creating works to bring.  Here’s a peek at some of the “tiny” pieces I’ll have available that evening:

Little canvas pieces, with art created on old dictionary pages – only $20 each, including the tiny easels to display them on! Of course I’ll bring some medium and large size pieces as well. I hope you will be able to come and support the public library in Avon, Indiana while viewing/purchasing a wonderful variety of artwork.

ArtScape Recap

I had a wonderful time meeting the supporters of the Avon Public Library the evening of April 17^th. This was my first experience participating in the ArtScape event and I was impressed! It was well organized, well attended and very enjoyable. Aside from the nice crowd of people to share my art with, there was live music and some fabulous food & drinks! ArtScape 2010! Avon Public Library, Avon, IN

Since I use words & text in many of my art pieces if was fun to have a row of books for a backdrop! One part of participating in this event was creating a piece of art for their silent auction that evening. Check out tomorrow’s blog post to see how I created this mixed media wall sculpture:
