It’s just one week until Sunday, May 6th when I will be presenting a short open studio class on photography basics!
The class will cover just that, the basics on how to take good photos! Composition, lighting and other topics will be discussed – along with some practice time for in-class shooting and review.
Class time runs from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. that day, perhaps a bit later if we are having fun shooting photos. 🙂 Be sure to bring your camera manual if you have camera-specific questions!
Cost for the class is $30 and will include handouts and visual aides. The class will be held at my studio in Brownsburg, Indiana. To sign up please email info@lynnemedsker.com – see you then!

I finally got the website updated tonight, including lots of new images and info about upcoming shows. Here are two recent images that are now on the site.
I just keep going back to the “Art & Nature” series and making more. I guess even with the snow flakes I’ve seen the last few days I am not ready to let go of the colors and feel of fall!
With their kind permission I am posting some images created by students in my recent “Nature Based Art Class”. I truly enjoyed getting to know everyone who participated! Additionally it was great fun to create and share artistic ideas with a group. I hope each student had fun during the process.
It is so much fun to see how different each person’s art is! Many of the images I am posting are digital collages, created in Photoshop Elements.
As you can see, even though they all used images of nature from photos the end results were quite varied!
