In my last post about digital art I mentioned that I had made different versions of this particular image in different color schemes. I thought it might be fun to show some of the versions and get some feedback from you as to which one appeals to you most. The original color scheme is at the top of the post, here are the rest:

So, what do you think? Any of them jump out and speak to you more loudly than the others?
I love that there is so much flexibility in selecting the colors for a digital piece, until it comes down to the time when I am ready to present the image online. I can’t fill up pages with different versions of the same image so I try to select the one that I think best suits the composition and style and only use that. Usually it ends up being the original colors selected during creation but occasionally I find a different color scheme that ends up being even better than the original. I have plans on updating and making changes on my website soon so I believe I will use all the versions of this particular image to demonstrate the flexibility there is in digital art and help people understand not only can it be printing in a variety of sizes, on a wide selection of different materials, but that it can also be custom tailored to their color tastes!
